Custom T-Shirt Printing in Pendleton, SC for Dates That Cannot Move

Three weeks out, and half of it is still in the air. The band is confirmed, the food truck is not. You have 140 registrations and you know another sixty will walk up on the day. The sponsor who promised a logo has sent you a photo of a logo, taken on a phone. That is where most event organizers around Pendleton are standing when they start hunting for custom t-shirt printing near me, and it is a normal place to be. We work with it. Hand us the pieces that are settled and we hold the rest open as long as the calendar lets us.

DTF printing is what most event work runs on here. The art gets printed onto film, then heat pressed into the shirt, so a six color sponsor row costs the same as a one color logo and there is no screen setup to pay for. That matters when you are printing 60 volunteer shirts and not 600. Embroidery is the other half of the job, and it goes onto hats, staff polos, quarter zips and jackets for the people actually running the thing. Screen printing comes in when the count gets big and the art stays simple, usually 48 pieces and up, and it is the cheapest per shirt once you are there.

Pendleton and the rest of Anderson County keep us busy with 5K committees, church festivals, youth tournaments, car shows, fundraisers, chamber nights and school events. Away from events we print for small businesses, trades and construction crews, nonprofits, restaurants, retailers, teams and booster clubs. The reason event people call is usually the same. Somebody quoted them per color, or told them the file had to be redrawn first, or would not touch an order under a hundred pieces. We start at 12 for DTF and embroidery, we clean up the sponsor art that came in wrong, and we put the whole quote in writing before anything gets pressed.

Work the date backward. Turnaround is 5 to 7 days once you approve the proof, so a Saturday event wants art signed off a good two weeks ahead, sooner if sponsors are still trickling in. Order to your confirmed count plus a cushion of the sizes that always run out, and sort the finished shirts into boxes by size so the check-in table is not digging through one heap at 7am.

What Goes on the Order Sheet

Most events end up ordering three or four of these at once. Everything below starts at 12 pieces except bulk screen printing, which starts at 48.

Event and Race Tees

The shirt everybody walks away with. DTF handles full color art, gradients and a back full of sponsor logos without adding cost per color, and it holds up through a wash cycle the week after.

Hoodies and Crewnecks

Good for fall and winter dates, and good as the item you sell rather than give away. Same DTF print, heavier garment, and a price point that lets a booster club or committee make real money on each one.

Cold weather dates Sells at the table Custom hoodies

Embroidered Hats

Caps and beanies stitched with your event mark or a sponsor name. Stitching survives a season of sun and sweat far better than a print, which is why crews and committees keep hats on the list every year.

Staff Polos and Workwear

Left chest embroidery on polos, quarter zips, jackets and button downs so your organizers, marshals and vendors are findable in a crowd. This is also the standard order for trades crews and shop staff across the Upstate.

Bulk Screen Printing

For runs from about 48 pieces where the design is one to three colors. Ink goes straight into the fabric, the hand is soft, and the per shirt number drops hard once the quantity climbs.

48 and up Lowest per shirt Simple color art

Fundraiser and Sponsor Apparel

Tiered sponsor layouts, presale shirts, memorial runs and church festival gear. We lay out the logo wall so the top sponsor reads clearly and the smaller ones still show up at arm length.

The Things That Stall an Event Order

Four worries come up on almost every event call, so here are the straight answers before you pick up the phone.

Our final count is not locked yet

Almost nobody has a final count three weeks out. Give us your registered number and a rough size spread, add a cushion on the sizes that always go first, and lock the art. Art approval starts the clock, not the last registration.

The sponsor sent a terrible logo file

That happens on every event. Send whatever you have, a screenshot, a business card scan, a photo off a website. We tell you honestly whether it will print clean at size, and we redraw or clean it up before the proof goes back to you.

We only need about 40 shirts

That is a real order here. DTF and embroidery both start at 12 pieces, so a small committee or a first year event is not a problem. Screen printing is the one that needs volume, usually 48 and up, and we will say so if it fits your count better.

What if you miss our date

Turnaround is 5 to 7 days after proof approval, and we will tell you before you pay whether your date works with that window. If it is tight, we say so up front instead of taking the order and hoping. No surprise phone call the week of.

How an Event Order Actually Runs

1

Send the date

Tell us the event day first, then the rough count, garment and art. We work backward from the date and tell you the real deadline for approving artwork.

2

Art and proof

We clean up sponsor logos, lay out the front and back, and send a digital proof with sizing and placement. Nothing goes on press until you say yes.

3

Print and stitch

DTF, embroidery or screen print depending on the piece. Production runs 5 to 7 days after approval, and the whole order is checked against your size breakdown.

4

Boxed and out

Shirts get sorted so your check-in table works, then the order ships or gets delivered. You know the ship date before we start printing.

Questions Pendleton Organizers Ask

Three weeks before the date is comfortable. Production is 5 to 7 days after proof approval, and the art stage usually takes longer than people expect once sponsors are involved. If you are inside two weeks, call anyway and we will tell you honestly whether the date is doable rather than guessing.

Yes. DTF prints full color with no per color charge, so twelve sponsor marks on a back cost the same as one. We lay them out in tiers, keep the title sponsor dominant, and check that the smallest logos still read from a few feet away before the proof goes out.

Usually yes, and reorders are simpler because the art is already set. Whether the extras land before your event depends on where the first run sits in production, so tell us early if a walk up rush is likely. Better to build the cushion into the original order.

We are based in the Greenville Upstate and serve Pendleton and the rest of Anderson County. There is no walk in storefront. Orders ship or get delivered, and we sort the arrangement out when you book so nobody is chasing a box the day before the event.

Twelve pieces for DTF printing and twelve for embroidery, so small committees, first year events and volunteer only crews all qualify. Screen printing typically starts around 48 pieces because of setup. If your count sits near that line, we will price both ways and show you which one wins.
