Group Apparel for Pickens Built to the Budget
Most groups pick the shirt first, then find out what it costs. Flip that. Tell us the budget per person and we build the order around it, sponsor logos, mixed sizes and all. Printing and embroidery for Pickens groups, shipped or delivered.
Custom T-Shirt Printing in Pickens, SC for Groups That Answer to a Budget
Here is the mistake that costs Pickens groups the most money. Somebody picks the shirt, picks the design, gets everybody excited, and only then asks what it costs per person. By then the quote is what it is, and the group either eats the difference or reprints the whole idea smaller. Do it the other way. Start with the number you can spend per head, tell us that number, and we work back from it through garment, print method and color count until the math lands. Custom t-shirt printing in Pickens works fine on a tight budget. It just has to be built that way from the first conversation.
Method matters more than most people think, and sponsor logos are where it shows. DTF printing is our specialty, and it does not care how many colors are in a logo. Six sponsors, six different brand palettes, gradients, small type, all of it prints in one pass on a t-shirt or a hoodie at a flat price. Screen printing gets cheaper than DTF once you are past roughly 48 pieces and the art is simple, so a one color back print for a big league order is worth pricing both ways. Embroidery in Pickens SC covers the hats, polos and jackets that coaches and board members actually keep.
The groups we print for around Pickens County run on volunteer time and donated money. Booster clubs, youth leagues, church groups and ministries, school clubs, nonprofits running a spring fundraiser, event organizers, alumni committees, and the small businesses that sponsor half of them. What they have in common is that nobody on the roster is a purchasing manager. One person got handed the shirt job on top of everything else they do. So we keep it simple. One contact, one proof, one invoice, and a size sheet that does not require a spreadsheet degree. Company shirts and custom hoodies for the sponsor side get handled the same way.
Mixed sizes are the other thing that trips groups up. A league order is youth small through adult 3XL, and if it all arrives in one heap somebody spends a Saturday sorting it on a gym floor. Tell us how you want it split, by team, by coach, by pickup site, and it comes boxed and labeled that way. Ship it or we deliver. Either way the sorting is already done.
What Pickens Groups Order Most
Six things cover almost every group order that comes through. Mix them however the budget says, the sponsor list is the same art either way.
Group T-Shirts
The workhorse. Soft cotton blends for a fundraiser run, heavier cotton for a work day. Full color front, sponsor block on the back, no upcharge for the number of colors when we run it DTF. Minimum is 12.
Hoodies and Crewnecks
Cold weather sideline gear and the thing volunteers keep wearing in March. Pullovers, zip fronts and crewneck sweatshirts, printed the same way as the tees so the design matches across the whole order.
Embroidered Hats
Caps for coaches, board members and the volunteers running the gate. Stitched logo holds up better than print on a hat, and a hat is the one piece people wear long after the season ends.
Polos and Workwear
Embroidered polos, jackets and work shirts for the people who represent the group in public. Board meetings, vendor booths, church greeters, crew leads. Left chest logo standard, name stitching available on the same run.
Bulk Screen Printing
Once a run clears roughly 48 pieces and the art is simple, screen printing usually beats every other number on the page. Big league orders, camp weeks and county wide events are where it earns its keep.
Fundraiser and Event Apparel
Shirts built to sell, not just to wear. Price them to clear a margin, keep the sponsor names legible at arms length, and order in the size spread that actually moves. We can split the run into presale and extras.
The Parts Groups Worry About
Every group treasurer asks us some version of these four questions before they sign off, so here are the straight answers.
We only have so much per person.
Then say the number first. We will tell you what garment and what print fits it, and where the money is actually going. Sometimes it is a lighter tee. Sometimes it is one less print location. You will see the trade before you commit.
Our sponsor logos are a mess.
They usually are. Low resolution files pulled off a website, three different versions of the same logo, one that is only a photo. Send what you have and we will tell you which ones need redrawing before we print, not after somebody sees the shirt.
Sizes keep changing on us.
Collect them once, lock the sheet, and give yourself a small buffer of the common sizes instead of chasing stragglers. Adds and reorders are possible after a run, they just price as their own order. Better to overshoot by six shirts than reprint for two.
We are not in Greenville.
Neither are most of our customers. We are based in the Upstate and serve Pickens the same as anywhere else, by shipping the order or running it out. Proofs go by email, sizes go by form, and nobody has to drive anywhere to approve a shirt.
From Budget to Boxes
Start With the Number
Tell us headcount and what you can spend per person. That one sentence decides garment, print method and how many locations we can afford.
Art and Sponsors
Send every logo you have. We clean up what is usable, flag what is not, and lay out the sponsor block so the small names stay readable.
Proof and Sizes
You approve a proof and turn in the size sheet at the same time. Nothing goes to press until both are locked, because both change the price.
Print and Sort
Production runs 5 to 7 days after approval. We box the order the way you asked for it and get it to you, shipped or delivered.
What People Say After the Boxes Land
"Where I get all the embroidery and printing done for my company. Love the quality! Unbeatable prices too."
Elias Acevedo"Could not be happier with this business! The quality of the shirts is top notch and the design came out exactly how I wanted."
Angela Danielsen"Moe was awesome. Great communication and got the order done quickly. We are very happy with the results."
Joseph KellerGroup Order Questions
Twelve pieces for DTF printing and twelve for embroidery. Screen printing typically starts around 48, since the setup only pays off across a bigger run. Twelve is per order, not per size, so a mixed run of youth and adult sizes counts toward the same twelve.
Figure 5 to 7 days of production after you approve the proof. The clock starts at approval, not at the first email, so the fastest thing a group can do is get artwork and sizes in early. Delivery or shipping time to Pickens sits on top of that.
Yes. DTF handles a full sponsor back without charging by the color, which is the usual reason a group gets told to cut sponsors. The real limit is legibility. Past about twelve logos on one back the small ones stop reading, so we will suggest a layout that keeps them all visible.
We can. Tell us how the group is split, by team, by grade, by coach or by pickup location, and the order ships in labeled boxes that match. That saves an evening of sorting on the other end, which for a volunteer run group is the whole point.
Call (864) 800-6445 or email info@printedessentials.com with the headcount, the budget per person and whatever artwork exists. If the sponsor list is not final yet, say so and we will quote the shirt anyway. We are a family owned shop, so the person quoting it is the person printing it.
