Custom Apparel for Travelers Rest built to get dirty
DTF printing, embroidery and bulk screen printing for crews that work and ride outside. Twelve piece minimum, 5 to 7 days after you approve the proof, and art we keep on file so your reorder matches.
Custom T-Shirt Printing and Embroidery for Travelers Rest, SC
The thing that stops most people is a bad print they still remember. A logo that cracked down the middle after four washes, or lettering that curled at the edges the first time somebody ran the shirt through a hot dryer. If your crew is outside all day around Travelers Rest, that is not a small annoyance, that is a shirt retired in a month. So we build around it. Custom t-shirt printing in Travelers Rest starts with choosing a print method that suits how hard the garment is actually going to be used, then matching that method to a blank that holds its color through sun, sweat and constant laundering.
DTF printing is the workhorse. The art gets printed to film and heat pressed into the fabric, so it comes off the press bright, full color and flexible enough to move with the shirt instead of sitting on top of it like a sticker. Twelve pieces gets you started and there is no penalty for color count, so a detailed trail illustration costs what a one color wordmark costs. Embroidery in Travelers Rest SC covers hats, polos, jackets and workwear, and stitched thread simply does not fade the way ink can. Screen printing comes in on qualifying bulk orders, generally from 48 pieces, when the run is long and the artwork is simple.
Guide services, bike shops, trail and running groups, tree and landscape crews, outfitters, gear retailers and race organizers order from us, alongside the same mix we print for across the Upstate. Small businesses, trades and construction crews, churches and ministries, nonprofits, schools, teams and booster clubs, restaurants and event organizers. What the outdoor facing customers ask for tends to be a little different. They want custom hoodies that can live in the back of a truck, company shirts that still read sharp at the end of a long shift, and lighter options for July. They also reorder in waves as the seasons turn, so we hold the art ready.
Outdoor apparel earns its keep by getting worn, not folded away. So we ask about conditions before we quote. Sun exposure, sweat, brush, how often it goes through the wash, whether a pack strap rides over the print. Those answers change the blank, the placement and sometimes the method. A big back print under a shoulder strap will not last. A chest and sleeve setup usually will.
What We Print and Stitch
Six things we get asked for most by Travelers Rest customers, all of it printed or embroidered in house and delivered or shipped to you.
Custom T-Shirts
DTF printed tees in full color with no upcharge for extra inks. Pick a heavier cotton for work or a lighter blend for warm months. Twelve pieces to start, sizes mixed however you need them.
Hoodies and Crewnecks
Custom hoodies for cold mornings and shoulder season. Heavyweight fleece takes a DTF print well and holds it, and we can stitch a small left chest mark instead if you want the quieter look.
Embroidered Hats
Trucker caps, structured six panels, rope hats and beanies stitched with your logo. Thread beats ink outdoors because it does not sun fade, and a hat is the piece people actually wear on their own time.
Polos and Workwear
Embroidered polos, jackets, softshells and work shirts for anyone who meets clients or property owners. Name on one side, company mark on the other, sized for people who bend and lift all day.
Bulk Screen Printing
For long runs with straightforward art, screen printing brings the per piece cost down. Typically from 48 pieces up. Good fit for race day shirts, big staff rollouts and anything you are handing out in volume.
Event and Fundraiser Apparel
Ride shirts, trail work day tees, festival staff gear and fundraiser merch you plan to sell. We help set a piece count that covers the crowd without leaving you a box of unsold larges.
The Reasons People Stall
Most of the hesitation we hear comes down to four things, so here is a straight answer to each one.
Will the print survive real use?
That depends on method and placement, which is why we ask. DTF bonds into the fabric and flexes instead of cracking. Embroidery is thread, so sun does not touch it. And we will move a print off a spot where a pack or harness will grind on it.
We only need a dozen shirts
A dozen is the number. Twelve pieces is our minimum for DTF and for embroidery, and you can split that across sizes and even across a couple of garment types in some cases. Screen printing is the one that needs a bigger run, usually 48 or more.
Our logo file is a mess
Send whatever you have, even a photo of an old shirt or a screenshot off your website. We will tell you honestly whether it will hold up at print size, and if it needs cleaning up we handle that before anything goes on a garment.
I need it fast
Typical turnaround is 5 to 7 days once you approve the proof, and we are not going to promise you tomorrow. If you have a ride, a race or an opening on the calendar, tell us the date up front and we will tell you plainly whether it works.

Questions From Travelers Rest Customers
No. We are a family owned shop based in the Greenville, SC Upstate and we serve Travelers Rest and the rest of Greenville County from there. There is no public storefront, so orders either ship to you or get delivered. Call (864) 800-6445 or email info@printedessentials.com and we will sort out the handoff when we quote the job.
For big graphics and full color art on tees and hoodies, DTF. For anything that lives in direct sun for hours, like hats, polos and jackets, embroidery, because thread holds its color when ink starts to look tired. Plenty of customers do both, a stitched hat and a printed shirt from the same logo.
Twelve pieces for DTF printing and twelve for embroidery. Screen printing usually starts around 48 because of the setup involved, so if you are under that we will quote you DTF instead and it often comes out better anyway for smaller runs with detailed artwork.
Usually yes. We keep your artwork on file after the first order, so a reorder comes back the same size, the same placement and the same colors. If you are coming to us with shirts another shop printed, send one over and we will get as close as the file and the garment allow.
Yes. Polyester and blended performance tees are common requests for summer riding, running and outdoor work, and DTF handles those fabrics well. Tell us the conditions when you ask for a quote and we will point you at blanks that breathe instead of just defaulting to heavy cotton.
